JUNIOR CASH TREASURY MANAGER - AMSTERDAM (Hybrid working)

Altum Consulting are pleased to be partnering with one of our most prestigious clients to support their search for a Junior Cash Treasury Manager to join their highly successful finance and treasury department located in Amsterdam.

Our client is one of the world\'s largest investment firms with over 20 offices located globally, with Amsterdam being a main HQ for their Dutch B.V. They are an award winning business with a highly international and diverse team that since 2020, have achieved world record targets and are continuously pushing to surpass their successes.

Our client is now looking to add to their already high-performing treasury team and are looking to hire a goal-focused Junior Cash Treasury Manager who will report directly to the Treasury Operations Manager.

Role & Responsibilities;-

• Take the lead of the liquidity management activities
• Producing regular and accurate forecasts on the liquidity positions
• Agreeing limits for investments and management companies
• Controllership and management of the cash-flow (incoming and outgoing)
• Monitoring the foreign exchange positions and executing FX trades when required
• Build and maintain strong relationships with the banks keeping in frequent contact regarding FX transactions and bank payments
• Producing regular and accurate reports to clients and various stakeholders (internal and external)
• Ensuring compliance is ad-hered to under the relevant laws and regulations
• Playing an active role in any improvement projects relating to Treasury

Education & Experience

• Educated with a Bachelor or Master degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent
• Up to 3 years of professional work experience within Treasury or Cash Management
• Experience working within an international, dynamic corporate environment is preferred
• Highly analytical in addition to strong Excel and IT skills
• Proven experience leading or supervising a small team
• Fluency in English is essential - Dutch language is desired
