Senior Data Analyst

Altum Consulting are recruiting a Senior Data Analyst to lead and own the data analytics function for a global technology brand based in Amsterdam.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing large data sets, automating processes, and creating impactful visualisations. This is a high-impact role where you will be the go-to expert for data analytics within the team, driving best practices and leading initiatives to improve reporting and analytics processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, own and develop the team's data infrastructure and reporting capabilities.
• Manage and improve data infrastructure and reporting.
• Establish best practices for data handling, automation, and visualisation.
• Process and standardise large data sets from various sources.
• Automate data workflows using tools like SQL and PowerQuery.
• Develop interactive dashboards using Tableau or similar tools.
• Apply advanced analytics techniques to provide insights.
• Work with business teams to translate data into strategic recommendations.
• Identify and implement improvements to data processes.

You'll be/have:

• Proven ability to lead and own data analytics functions in large complex environments.
• 5 years of experience in data analysis and business intelligence.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical or analytical field (e.g., Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics).
• Expertise in data manipulation and automation tools (e.g., SQL, PowerQuery, Power BI).
• Strong experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
