Senior Accountant

Altum Consulting is pleased to be partnered with an exciting SaaS company who are currently searching for a new Senior Accountant as a result of recent growth. Based in New York, our client operates across the USA and has doubled in size over the past 3 years. The business have recently taken on additional funding and embarked on an ambitious new five-year plan.

Main responsibilities include:

• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements under US GAAP, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee timely delivery of financial reporting to various regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and implement technology solutions to improve efficiency, working with the transformation team to implement these.
• Support audits, regulatory filings, and ad-hoc investor reporting.

The successful candidate will have:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders across different regions.
• Possess strong technical accounting and analytical skills, system literacy with intellectual curiosity and an eagerness to expand responsibilities over time.
• Deep understanding of US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Big Four training with a CPA qualification is strongly preferred.
