Finance Manager

Altum Consulting are working with a small but fast-growing media production company to recruit a Sole Finance Manager/Bookkeeper. This role will be based in North-West London and will be 5 days a week in the office. Candidates must be on a short notice period.

Bookkeeper role:

• Solely responsible for the end-to-end finance of the entity
• Managing day-to-day bookkeeping for the company
• Posting and reconciling accounts payable and receivable invoices
• Preparing and posting journals including accruals and prepayments
• Performing bank reconciliations
• Processing employee expenses and credit card transactions
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns and assisting with tax filings
• Administering the monthly payroll process, including pension submissions
• Producing monthly profit and loss reports and balance sheets
• Preparing job cost reports and calculating growth margin
• Supporting month-end and year-end close processes
• Providing analysis to Directors to support business decisions

For this Bookkeeper role you\'ll be/have:

• Qualified or actively studying towards an accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA etc.)
• Experience in a Bookkeeper/Finance Manager role in a small company
• Experience using accounting software (e.g. Xero, Sage)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
