Our client is a leading UK property developer and manager with a challenging transformation roadmap ahead to meet its strategic objectives and performance goals. They have retained Altum Consulting to find them a Head of Strategic People Partnering to serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, driving HR initiatives that align with business objectives and enhance organisational performance.
Key Accountabilities
- Build strategic partnership through developing collaborative relationships with senior leadership to understand business goals and develop the most effective and efficient organisation, with the right capabilities and colleague strategies that support these objectives.
- Proactively work with the business leaders to develop strategic workforce plans which look 1,2,5 years out, so teams are resourced and developed to deliver quality solutions and services at the time they are required.
- Develop a high performing People Partnering team (four direct reports) who have the capability and confidence to develop all aspects of the colleague and performance development agenda within their designated business units.
- In conjunction with the Head of Talent and Org Effectiveness and the business leaders, ensure there are clear development plans, retention strategies which align with organisational needs and culture.
- Support organisational change initiatives by providing strategic insights and facilitating effective communication across all levels.
- Provide coaching and guidance to leaders on HR best practices, conflict resolution, employee relations and leadership best practice.
- Promote a diverse and inclusive workplace culture that aligns with the company\'s values and mission. Set high standards and support business leaders in developing high performing teams.
- Work with the Internal Comms and Engagement lead to develop and implement programs that enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and performance.
- Oversee performance management processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and employee development. Support the business in upskilling leaders to have quality conversations, create succession plans and keep talent engaged and motivated and with clear career paths.
- Utilise HR analytics to drive decision-making and assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations and manage HR-related risks.
Knowledge & Experience
- Degree Level qualifications in CIPD, Business Administration, Organisation Design or equivalent.
- 8 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 4 years in a strategic HR business partner role.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment law.
- Proven ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with HR analytics and performance metrics.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
