Altum Consulting are excited to be supporting a world renowned real estate investment and development business to secure an FP&A Manager for their European operations. The business operates across 15 countries and boasts over £70bn in assets under management.
The role will play a critical part in the strategic financial management of the organization. The primary responsibility is to oversee financial planning and analysis processes, providing key insights that guide decision-making at both operational and strategic levels, collaborate with cross-functional teams, utilising your analytical skills to interpret complex financial data and trends, ultimately contributing to the company\'s financial goals.
Key Responsibilities,
- Support FP&A Controller in day-to-day activities (e.g. Anaplan implementation/development) and any ad hoc requests
- Lead on data reconciliation from external systems integrated into Anaplan (e.g. Oracle, Workday)
- Business partner with the accounting team to review monthly actuals with key stakeholders and updating forecast for material movements on OPEX/ Revenue.
- Key partner in the preparation of forecasts and business plans and work with the accounting team to maintain a monthly risk/ops tracker.
- Full ownership over the KPI\'s reporting requirements.
- Support accounting in monthly reviews to ensure actuals are booked correctly
- Work with the accounting team to ensure detailed and consistent variance commentary against country and department P&Ls.
- Work with the accounting team to verify customer level actuals have been loaded into Anaplan on a monthly basis.
- Deputise for Controller when required.
- Assist with the development and implementation of a robust cashflow forecast model.
- Work with business teams to ensure data in asset module is a true reflection of the current state of projects
- Follows established policies and procedures by monitoring and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, organisational standards, and operational processes related to area(s) of responsibility and reporting violations or infractions to appropriate individual(s).
- Demonstrates appropriate safe behaviours in accordance with Company, property, and departmental policies, procedures, and standards by immediately reporting any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, employee/visitor/resident injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to appropriate individual(s).
- Identifies areas for improvement, offers suggestions to improve efficiency and productivity, and implements ideas that achieve operational excellence.
Required Experience,
- Fully qualified ACCA / CIMA / ACA
- Previous Real Estate sector experience
- Advanced Excel with experience building financial models/reports.
- Advanced PowerPoint experience.
- Advance experience in Anaplan is essential.
- Good problem solver with intellectual curiosity.
